Date: Saturday, February 4th - 10:00am to 2:00pm
What: Atlanta University Center RecycleMania® Tournament
Where: Spelman College, Atlanta, GA

Details: The Atlanta University Center is proud to announce the Second Annual RecycleMania® Tournament. This is a national competition sponsored by the EPA intended to raise awareness about recycling and sustainability on college campuses and their surrounding communities. Join us in this event happening on February 4, 2012 on the Spelman College campus from 10 AM – 2PM.

Please call no later than January 30, 2012 to reserve a space at the event. Your involvement would be appreciated and we look forward to partnering with you in this worthwhile cause.

What: NPU-T Monthly General Meeting
Where: KIPP STRIVE Academy (Westview neighborhood), 1444 Lucile Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30310

Date: Saturday, February 18th - 12:00pm to 2:00pm
What: A.D. King Youth Empowerment Parade & Celebration
Where: Booker T. Washington High School, Atlanta, GA

Details: The A.D. King Foundation is making plans for its 3rd annual parade with space on the route for floats, marching units, cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles and more! Free entry fees for school bands, ROTC and cheerleaders. Cash prizes of $100, $200 and $300 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place commercial and non-commercial floats. Deadline for entry is February 10, 2012
