We’ll take you on a journey through time exploring mathematical excellence from ancient African through the present. You’ll learn about African and African American mathematical geniuses as well as ways that mathematics is used in various African cultures. You’ll experience activities that can teach your students about this history as well as standards-based mathematical concepts and skills.

Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (M.S) in 2000, Joe has continued his research and lifestyle changes to combat M.S. Driven by the desire to avoid M.S. drugs which cause severe side effects, Joe presents in book format his successful efforts to stave off M.S. disabling nature over a five plus year period, all while successfully maintaining full time employment as a licensed tax accountant in metro Atlanta.
