Dear Nia Knowles,
On behalf of Coca-Cola, we would like to invite you to attend the “America is Your Park” event on July 25. Atlanta’s Washington Park has been chosen to receive a $10K donation from The Coca-Cola Company to encourage healthy and active living in America’s parks. Washington Park was one of 7 parks chosen across the country to receive this donation.
We are working with Sharon Davis in the City Parks, Rec and Cultural Affairs office and are planning to hold a check presentation event at Washington Park on Monday, July 25th at 10AM. The event will also be a health and wellness event for the children who attend Washington Park camp and possibly some of the surrounding Camp Best Friends participants.
We would be honored if you could attend the check presentation event on July 25th. In addition, another element of the America is Your Park Program includes a voting contest that will take place starting June 29th – September 8th and we hope that you could help us to get the word out to constituents and to the community so that Washington Park would be the winner of the 1st – $100K, 2nd – $50K or 3rd – $25K place prizes.
Votes can be done online (1 point) or in person at the park by checking in on Facebook, uploading a picture or video of yourself at the park (5 points). As I receive more information on the program I will send along.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 404-771-6409. Thank you for your time.
