Southwest Community Fall Festival

Southwest Community Fall Festival scheduled for saturday, November 17th ATLANTA

– Atlanta Post 3 At-Large City Council Member H. Lamar Willis invites residents to the annual Southwest Community Fall Festival at Jean Childs Young Middle School.  This year’s festivities will include food, games, candy, music, and more. This is the 4th year Council Member Willis will host the event.  He says, “growing up in Southwest Atlanta taught me the value of having strong community bonds.  While times have changed a bit, the need for tight knit communities has never been greater.  This is a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to come together and celebrate the work they do to make Southwest Atlanta such a wonderful place to live.” Entertainment will also include performances by Mays High School and Jean Childs Young Middle School marching bands, DJ Era, and Cardio Tone, who will give festival goers a workout while teaching them the latest urban line dances. This year’s event is the culmination of a day full of activities that includes the May’s Cluster Parade.

The Southwest Community Fall Festival will be held Saturday, November 17th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.###
